Uate To the rescue

Johnson in space in the dying stages...floating across field throwing dummies ate pace...zigged when he should have zagged and Uate got his clutches on him....GAME OVER !
Uate has been great in attack backing up DCE for a vital try, but his defence has been solid too.
I was fist pumping hard with this "Huge" Uate play to close the game out...top stuff Uate!!

Wright has been a surprise packet, for me. He has been extremely solid, with virtually no errors, and is a reliable goal kicker.

Uate redeemed himself with that tackle at the end. He has done so well for us but the simple errors he must work on cutting them out cause the dropped ball yesterday cost us six points. The good thing is he did not drop his head and he made that crucial tackle at the death.

Yeah same. Wright brings it back OK. Doesn't seem to get man-handled too much, and fights hard for a quick play the ball. Very impressed.

Interesting side line here , Wright is safe, an excellent goal kicker, good in defence but not the barnstorming kick returns of Horhay.

Imagine both are fit, and after a chance to see Wright in action and what he can do, who gets the permanent gig?

No Hastings in the side, and Wright plays imo..
We desperately need his goalkicking, especially coming into the business end.

I am so happy to see Uate playing with a smile on his face. Up here in the hunter he has always been loved and is regarded like Matt Ballin as a top guy.

His runs have been huge and besides yesterdays error I can't remember too many.

Great addition.

To me Matt Wright must play. His kicking is excellent and he seems very cool. Solid kick returns, no fuss. Just a good solid player.

That try he scored when he cut back inside on to DCEs pass showed great awareness to come back from his wing. He's going great for us. Still has the odd error every now and then but a significant improvement even from when he was at his best a few years ago.
