I wanted Jamie to hang around too, but I did feel he physically got it spot on. He was starting to get run around by centres who weren't 1/10th the player he was.....he just was physically on the downhill stretch. I couldn't bare to see centres like LeiLua dominate him......just seemed to wrong, when a season or two back they wouldn't have been able to lay a finger on him.

It was more to do with the extra defensive workload due to a lack of possession and field position along with increased yardage/go forward type of runs(that are draining with increased impact) showing up his age more than would normally be the case.

Thin on numbers after being exposed through the middle gives more space and one on one opportunities to get outside even young centres.

There were a million other performance issues that needed addressing before looking at Jamie's age slowing him down.
