At least we.can never again talk of Turbo being the greatest Manly fullback. One solitary GOOD season, the rest crap and riddled with injuries on top. What makes it worse is his ridiculous salary demands.

Let any other club pay 20% of their cap for him on the sidelines. It would actually do us a favour.

Gutho never should have left. Somebody at our club with brains extended him til 2017 cause they had the right idea. But then he was shipped off in 2015 and we ended up bringing guys in like Walker and Taupau whose careers at Manly were a complete waste. Disappointed

Man I hated Taupau by the end of his time here but we did get a few good seasons out of him mainly when he was up front with AFB. Walker too had some pretty good seasons for us and is still a quality NRL player that I wish we’d kept. Wouldn’t call either of their Manly careers complete wastes compared to some of the other guys we signed in that year

To the point though it’s easy to say now that we’d rather Gutho after Turbo got injured once again, but it’s pretty clear who the better player is when they are both fully fit. Unfortunately for us it just isn’t seeming to work out, bit like keeping Fainu over Api actually. Been a long time since anything went right for this club 😕

Wouldn't you just kill for some of that 2008-2011 squad right now. Put Snake, Robbo, Lyon, Matai, Ballin, Kite and Beaver into our current squad (at the age they were then) and we'd be an absolute premiership force
