Roaring? I have not seen any data that shows more than 3% for any manufacturing industry. A lot still falling, and China tariff on parts yet to have taken affect. And when looking at 5 &10 year average it's still well down.

I agree media is a huge part of the problem, with both sides brainwashed by their respective propagandists - fox on the right, CNN and most of main stream legacy media on the left. People become convinced of the righteousness of their own perspectives fuelled by these propagandists, which is illustrated by your comments.

And don't get me started on the manufactured racism card that the left like to play when they can't win the argument. I actually watch a range of news outlets as I pride myself on being a centrist. We are all being manipulated to take one side or the other, and the loss of a true “middle ground” is at the heart of the western worlds troubles imho. Each side is equally damaging as it demonises the other, which polarises debate and erodes confidence in our systems and institutions. As you asked, I find CNN particularly biased as a mouthpiece for active resistance to a democratically elected president. They obviously feel morally justified in that position, but it is the height of hypocrisy to champion the virtues of democracy while actively encouraging its viewers not to accept an election result, particularly an overwhelming one. And before you say it, I felt the same way about the agitators on Jan 6th.

Given the loss of US manufacturing capability happened over decades, I think we should allow a bit more than 4 months for a meaningful turnaround.
