Trump

That’s comedy gold coming from Howard.
When you see an ex-PM resort to that level of personal opprobrium towards an erstwhile opponent, you know he’s worried about his own side.
The polls are pointing more and more towards a Labor victory on 03 May 25.
Thank you for your post feathered friend
If we dwell deeper into this matter we are able to come to a better conclusion .

The Gold comedy is coming from all the clowns that are representing the labor party that are responsible of turning our economy and standard of living into a Circus

The Ex Pm's Personal Portrait assessment of Albo perfectly fits his weak leadership frame

The polling Booths are not open as yet and people have time to think about the consequences of another Terrible Term of Labor Cost of Living Sufferance

Ok……so you’re a lefty….sweet
It is up to us to Educate our Left feathered friends and Eradicate their way of thinking and Inspire them to think Right

We are responsible and accountable to lead our brothers into the Right direction
The Onos lies on us feathered friend

So let us Start Preaching and Start Reaching out and Save All of them from the Deceit of the Left

Where’s the re-education camp Bonzo? How is your superannuation looking, three months into the latest iteration of self-serving Trumpian chaos?

Meanwhile you’re worried about your $275 energy rebate. What were the Coalition doing for nine years prior to that, other than creating directionless uncertainty over a clean energy transition?

For Chips’ benefit, the first time I voted for Labor at the federal level was at the last election.

Based on the DLP 2.0’s (aka the LNP) current trajectory, I will not be voting for them again anytime soon. Probably never, because they appear to have gone past the point of no return.

And anyone who thinks Trump is some sort of saviour to be venerated or his actions copied, then you’re beyond help.

Just found this fetching portrait online of our very own Bozo in his No.2 Blackshirt rig:

That’s the fellow (Achille Starace) at top, hanging inverted at far right (quite appropriate) above. His boss Benito Mussolini, Son of the Century, is second from the left.

Yep plenty of thugs were happy to join brownshirts and blackshirts back in the day, these days there's the proudboys and disturbingly even our local versions.
There's no excuse for anyone to be taken by surprise at the forces in play around the world currently.
Yet this is a footy site, and footy fans in general are (and maybe have to be) practiced at being one-eyed and prone to emotion over reason.
So Good luck talking politics here!

It is an online minefield.

Another sad case of DTS. Hope you’re on them mend soon. 👍🏻

If there are any lines on this site, I think this crosses one. Poor taste imho.

From my observation over many years, there has always been thugs on both sides of the political divide. Extremists are just as bad on both ends of the spectrum, regardless of what colour shirt they wear.

I honestly think this is part of the problem with modern media / politics coverage (and to be clear I am not sure how to solve this)

The whole "same sides" argument can be incredible devise and create a platform or relevance for people who should be represented. While I am sure there are bad actors on the "left" the people one the "right" are far more prone to violence, racism, anti semitism etc.

As an example lets take the vaccine debate. When a media company shows "both sides" it can make it seem like there is balance there where there is none

So you haven't noticed the left torching Tesla cars, the left calling Musk a Nazi and Trump Hitler. The anti semitism in most Universities in the west, all from the left. And don't get me started on the manufactured racism card that the left like to play when they can't win the argument. Sure, the right aren't saints either, but it always seems the left can do no wrong when clearly they do.

I agree media is a huge part of the problem, with both sides brainwashed by their respective propagandists - fox on the right, CNN and most of main stream legacy media on the left. People become convinced of the righteousness of their own perspectives fuelled by these propagandists, which is illustrated by your comments.

So to your observation, nothing's changed, and everything is just as it has always been.

From my observation people who say "nothing's changed and all is as it has always been" are either in need of a new pair of glasses, or they are in the 'there's very fine people on both sides' camp (which is the camp of apologists for violent racist right wing extremism).

So .. I hope you need new glasses!
