When was the last time you saw an NRL coach quit of his own accord?

There are only 16 NRL coaching positions and none are available at the moment and to be honest don’t look to be for a while at least.

So why would you walk away from an NRL coaching position without another one available and tied up?

Dez was meant to start in 2013

If you google the timeline - Manly (ironically) presented a signed memo from Dez to extend and threatened him with legal action if he didn't stay.

Then Dez started headhunting all the Staff to take to the Dogs.

Then Penn flicked him - presser on him saying 'we all agreed to see out the year, but the trust has been broken'
