One is one of the most reliable prices of machinery ever built, the other is an over priced price of crap that trades on their name not performance.I don't know what that first thing is but turbo would be the porsche
Taufuas play the balls and all round passion levels are hopeless.
That's very harsh. I think that he has been pretty good since he came back from his injury. Bring Tom T along nice & slowly.
I generally agree but in Tom T's case his body is still maturing. Moylan is older than you think, nearly 24 years old. His debut in 1st grade was only 2 years ago.I don't get the holding back Tommy Turbo attitude. The only way he's going to get there is to give him that experience and chance. When he played against the Raiders he looked super composed and like he belonged there. I always believe if you are good enough you are old enough. Sure he's got some growing up in terms of defence, but the only way to learn is to play.
Other teams have been putting the youngsters in Jack Bird, Moylan (a few years back) and they have killed it. This kids got what they've got plus some.

Tom T is a great fullback that is his best position, but he is no winger, he got shown up against a good side in Penrith and a strong fast winger in Mansour before he got injured
Tom doesn't possess the quick speed to play there or the strength to take on the big fast big guys in defence. Its a specialist position, knowing your defensive positioning distinctively is so important to prevent tries and Manly should be on the lookout for a specialist strong fast winger.
You might get away with it against the weaker sides, but not against the good ones. You can't just throw anyone into there. Even Dugan got shown up playing against NZ playing for Australia, playing out of position
I really don't think he got shown up by Mansour at all. He let in 1 try where he had to push infield to help out his centre and they threw the ball wide, and he made a good attempt at getting to him. And then he pretty much got injured.
I look at Roger Tuivasa Shek with the Roosters, they did a brilliant job at bringing him through (I'm not comparing age I'm comparing a specialist fullback) and he got heaps of 1st grade experience, even slotted back to fullback in attack at times with Minichiello and this year he is absolutely ON FIRE! And sucked into the Roosters for now losing him!
As for Dugan he's a battering ram, an off the cuff a bit. But he doesn't really seem to have a lot of nous.
I do get that wing is a specialist position absolutely. In fact I have been quite shocked by how Jamie Lyon has played there at times through injury and has looked completely lost. But realistically its the best way to bring Tommy Turbo through.
