Its a moot point because Toovey will pick Jorge anyway. All im saying is to watch him off the ball. Watch his play the balls. It's his 1%ers. Just slow and lazy.

I always thought Massey-Ferguson tractors had a good reputation.;)

And at least one member of the Toronto-based Massey family, actor Raymond, went onto become world famous.

I think Jorge is coming into some form. If it came down to it maybe a move to the forwards wouldn't be off the cards. Hiku is very safe and has a pretty good footy brain for is age. Tom.T will get there in time. Just like all our NYC we need to groom them not rush them.

Tafua has impressed me this year with his catching ability. I'd written him off, and wanted him turned into a second rower. However, Tom Turbo must be in the backline somewhere. This means Jamie going to 5/8th and Foran listening to the instructions of that master coach the Dalai-Willow.

Tom T will be held back whilst everyone is fully fit. However have we had a fully fit backline available this season? He has plenty of potential and will no doubt be a superstar. He knows that Snake, Killer and Skivvy are on their final contracts and will have his pick of position in the back line. The guy is 18, no need to rush him and he won't be going anywhere.

Seriously struggling to understand the constant negative comments regarding Hiku and Jorge. Hiku has been very consistent for us and Jorge has been very good since his return and both deserve their starting positions in the team. Jorge has been good under the highball which has been good to see.

Simple fact is , like or not, when fit foz will always be picked in the 6

As a result all of these yarts where (when fit) he is not included are just a waste of time

I don't get the holding back Tommy Turbo attitude. The only way he's going to get there is to give him that experience and chance. When he played against the Raiders he looked super composed and like he belonged there. I always believe if you are good enough you are old enough. Sure he's got some growing up in terms of defence, but the only way to learn is to play.

Other teams have been putting the youngsters in Jack Bird, Moylan (a few years back) and they have killed it. This kids got what they've got plus some.

I generally agree but in Tom T's case his body is still maturing. Moylan is older than you think, nearly 24 years old. His debut in 1st grade was only 2 years ago.

Turbo has to play a minimum amount of games in the 20's to be eligible to play in those finals.

I suspect he won't even be considered until those minimum games have passed.

Then its up to injuries/form.

Who are the other 18 years olds playing?

Bird is 20 and the best of the young guys but by 20 Tom will be full time first grade as well

Tom T is a great fullback that is his best position, but he is no winger, he got shown up against a good side in Penrith and a strong fast winger in Mansour before he got injured

Tom doesn't possess the quick speed to play there or the strength to take on the big fast big guys in defence. Its a specialist position, knowing your defensive positioning distinctively is so important to prevent tries and Manly should be on the lookout for a specialist strong fast winger.

You might get away with it against the weaker sides, but not against the good ones. You can't just throw anyone into there. Even Dugan got shown up playing against NZ playing for Australia, playing out of position

I really don't think he got shown up by Mansour at all. He let in 1 try where he had to push infield to help out his centre and they threw the ball wide, and he made a good attempt at getting to him. And then he pretty much got injured.

I look at Roger Tuivasa Shek with the Roosters, they did a brilliant job at bringing him through (I'm not comparing age I'm comparing a specialist fullback) and he got heaps of 1st grade experience, even slotted back to fullback in attack at times with Minichiello and this year he is absolutely ON FIRE! And sucked into the Roosters for now losing him!

As for Dugan he's a battering ram, an off the cuff a bit. But he doesn't really seem to have a lot of nous.

I do get that wing is a specialist position absolutely. In fact I have been quite shocked by how Jamie Lyon has played there at times through injury and has looked completely lost. But realistically its the best way to bring Tommy Turbo through.

19 YEARS OLD
Jack Kavanagh, Matthew Lodge, Luke Yates, Euan Aitken, Jai Arrow, Valentine Holmes, Dallin Watene-Zelezniak, Willis Meehan, Joe Ofahengaue, Te Maire Martin, Tepai Moeroa, Brenko Lee, Vincent Leuluai, Addin Fonua-Blake, Suliasi Vunivalu, Karl Lawton, Lamar Liolevave, Danny Levi, Robert Jennings, Jackson Hastings, James Fisher-Harris, Matthew Dufty, Tevita Pangai, Nelson Asofa-Solomona

18 YEARS OLD
Luciano Leilua, Sione Mata'utia, Coen Hess, Jacob Host, Tom Trbojevic, Izaac Thompson, Jayden Nikorima, Bradley Abbey, Brock Lamb, Mafoa'aeata Hingano

So some names there playing a bit, Watene-Zelezniak, Valentine Holmes, Euan Aitken, Jackson Hastings and Robert Jennings

In 2017 Stewart . Matia. Killer. Will be all gone . It's going to be about keeping the poachers at bay. 17. Tom T. Taufua. Gutherson. Hiku. Other wing ? 5/8 and half ??. Plenty of room for another great backline.

Fullback is Tom's spot but he is a couple of years off getting that permanently so bleed him on the wing, if our backline is fit then he plays reserve grade or 20's.

To be fair Roger TS has great footwork and speed and was a great winger, Daily M Winger as well. I wouldn't rush Tom to throw him out wide playing into a tricky position, that he is not really suited for. I would keep him as fullback in the 20s, he still has another season but give him some time in fullback in NSW Cup and bring him into first grade if Brett gets hurt
