I believe the reason Des left Manly was frustration with the dis functional board. When he left I was disappointed as we had just won the premiership and had young players coming through like Lussick, Hopoate, Waerea-Hargreaves. Everything was looking good for a Manly dynasty but it all fell apart. We will never know what Manly would look like now had Des stayed.
