New nothing of this kid but absolutely electrifying.
Destroyed us last week, killing Storm tonight.
A player who this at times boring predictable NRL needs to light it up.
What really impresses is his defence....made 3 trysavers including a ripper on Addo Carr.
Kid has a Huge future.

Kid with a mans toughness. Great skills as well. Made for the rigours of NRL. Just as good at five eight.

He’s one of the reasons we are getting Elgey so if that works out for us he’s done us a favour.

Good point - similar build and evasive skills as a youngster - super strong through the hips....
I think he has Lyon for pace....just off the mark, but Lyon had the calmest head for an outside back arguably in footy history....can relate to the call.

Yep. I saw it Terry . Not good at all but look at Maloney. Same issue but has won everywhere he goes. I’m not saying he’s in Maloney’s class but If you can get a full off season into him working on it and a better defensive structure overall it can work , especially with a Lockyer like bodyguard in place.
Although finding a bodyguard amongst our lot might be tough lol.
He had some great attacking touches in first half. I’ve seen a lot of this kid as a junior. He has the skills in attack, believe me, if they can find a way to have him defend better.

Did you see elgey get embarrassed by Munster for his try. His defense is seriously poor. Not sure he has much of a clue in attack either.

If Gordon was fit, Elgey wouldn't be in the team. Simple as that. He can't bloody tackle. He's been in top grade now for a while and his defence stinks. That's why AJ took his spot and only injury to Gordon has handed it back.

He is an instinctive player with limited instincts.

The titans have a couple of good young players. Moeaki Fotuaika is only 18. Max King I think will become a great footballer. Arrow is solid.

Next year I think they'll push for the 8.

AJ is a freak for his age and size. since moving to FB 3 weeks ago i reckon has stopped 6-8 tries, many of them i don't think others would have stopped.

just 100% effort all the time. will be good to watch over the next decade or so

I think brimson is a fullback anyhow.. dont get me wrong he is a good 5/8th but has shown his twice the player since being at the back

He is certainly an up and coming star,not a show pony like Ponga but a real standout.I think Vossy has a thing about his name AJ this AJ that.
Brimson,Mitchell,Ponga,Lewis,what a great bunch of footy players.

He’s a good player. The Titans are sneakily putting together a strong roster, just need their coach to bring it all together. Brimson, Taylor, Sami and Arrow are 4 of the best young players around. James, Wallace and Don are pretty bloody good as well. Then you have Rein and Petes as a good combination - there’s no excuse for them not going well next season.

Absolutely. There's a reason why Elgey was let go. It's pretty obvious to see. And we are taking the Gold Coast....yes the GOLD COAST'S rejects. How did we get here ???

Probably wont be the last we take either if Uncle John gets the coaching gig.

I'd like to say we are slowly sinking but that's being optimistic.

I've seen a lot of Brimson at touch games, and in the Titans 20's (as my mates kid was in both). He's a freak, was 17 when he was graded. From standing starts he was leaving blokes for dead.His defence was a bit suss for a while, but they had a great coach in Ben Woolf, who is a great defensive coach.
Ive watched Elgey for a while, and gone down to watch Tweed in the Qcup. Which is now coached by Ben Woolf. I thought if anyone can sort his defence Ben can. But it's just not happening. I'll admit he's better than a cpl seasons ago, and he can throw some good straight and hard cut out balls, but inevitably his defence let's him down at key moments in games.
This will be my last whinge about him until round 8 (I want him to prove me wrong). I obviously want him to step up, and maybe if Jake can ride shotgun for him, and Cherry can teach him how little blokes can tackle massive units, he may come good.
