This constant discussion about Woods being resigned is starting to grate on me.

Morgan Boyle has played 2 games in 3 years and is virtually our 29th or 30th player never seeing first grade unless it’s desperation times.

Woods is way more experienced than Boyle and for the same money a way better option.

Boyle will be let go , Woods replaces him , same $$$ , and a better option.

Rant over !!

Well said Mark and I agree, it's grating on me too. A stat that perfectly backs this up is by @deanm:

"Woods holds the middle when he is on the field in defence. He has played 7 games , Made 162 tackles only missed 6 ! In comparison Condon has played 4 games made 39 Tackles and missed 7."
Add to these, the fact Woods has made no errors in weeks and to top it off, he loves being here and it's not about $$$.

I for one am happy Woods is staying for another year. We could do a whole lot worse than him.

I wonder if he will blood Gordon if we end up missing the 8.

I love how tough Croker is and how much passion he plays with but a second (attacking) hooker would add another dimension to the team, especially when he tires and needs a rest. Less predictable structures are sometimes a good thing!

Too many wingers. Not enough back rowers, that you can push to prop in a pinch.

That problems then compounded by most of the props not seemingly mobile enough to be moved to an edge.

Another reason Keepie and Sam Fainu are keeper.
