What team, let alone individual, goes out and plays like $hit just to spite the coach and his tactical approach… jeopardising their own reputation, let alone the financial fallout from future contract negotiations… Are we to believe the Urbros would do that to this club that they love so much?… pleasseee!

Coaches lose the dressing room all the time, in all sports. Not sure sabotage is the right word, but not playing for the coach amounts to the same thing.

Coaches lose the dressing room all the time, in all sports. Not sure sabotage is the right word, but not playing for the coach amounts to the same thing.

Losing the dressing room is plausible, but quite different to suggesting a player (or team) go out and purposely play badly to undermine the coach. Same result is possible, but they are greatly different. The player may chose to ignore a coach’s instruction if he has lost the dressing room, but no way he purposely plays badly.
