I went to a game once , some fella called Lockett kicked the most goals ever , at least I think he did , I was in the Qantas corporate suite absolutely pissed on Crown Lagers so wasn’t taking much notice of the game outside !!

It's easy to see mate. Its the same **** that has been going on for years. Its on the news, in the paper, on the web, on fox sports. There is that much of it you cant miss it. Its all over this forum. What could possibly be a secret that we don't know about that is affecting Manly that has not been mentioned these past years. We reap what we sow, so why should Manly be any different. We have had a great run of winning when other fans of other teams hated the sight of us and that's not to mention what the fans of loosing teams at the bottom of the table thought about the NRL. The only thing that has changed is the speed of the game and now its our turn to suck it up.

Perhaps, for you, that is the case. But I've stopped watching non-Manly games. When five matches each round are all blow out scores, it gets VERY dull. But whatever floats your boat. However, the drums are beating louder, and many lukewarm fans have switched off.

The solution to the blow out scores is Mediocre teams like Manly need to step up to NRL quality level and start competing instead of capitulating .

The drums are also beating that NRL will not put up with Mediocre club standards as they look at expanding the game
