There will be no mass purge @Mark from Brisbane I am sorry to inform you.

30 man squad needs to be cut to 28 for next year.

So from our current 30

-4 = Waddell, AFB, Boyle and Thompson.

+1 = Foran.

That leaves us with 27.

In that 27 we can safely assume Danny Levi, Luke Metcalf and Tony Williams will all go. Plus maybe Albert Hopoate and Brendon Elliott.

So we have (minimum) 4 to (max) 6 vacant spots, of which 2 will be taken by Schuster and Ben Turbo.

So maybe we are getting 2, 3 or 4 new players. Of which one must be a hooker and a goal kicker.

There is of course the now unlikely Garrick trade.

Have I missed anything?

Unfortunately I don't think we have been "full strength" for more than 3 games in a season since 2013.

Media reporting Tigers reporting at least 9 players cut. Now that's what I call a decent purge. Hopefully we can be better purgers than them. We should easily manage 9 on the purge list and WIN the off season purge. Anything less is a Clayton's purge.

I think that this list is about as accurate as we all know at this point.

There could well be others.

I think somehow this is going to be a very big turnover year, we could very easily see a third of the squad gone and maybe even more.
