Hoppa was a great player for Manly

Always put his body on the line. Young players like Weekes, Kelma and alike could take note.

And to think these days Victor Radley is seen as crazy - he got nothing on Hoppa 👏😆🤴

I'm not at the prostate check age yet but as a stage 2 bowel cancer survivor I can say with some confidence that finger up the bum is much better than the alternatives

When you watch some of those old games you can see how dominant he was at times

I guess we would never know if he would have had the same impact without the crap in his game but if he did cut it out and could keep up his form I think he would have been remembered as one of the dominant wingers of his time
