The NRL Finals Series - 2023

Montoya is a powder puff. Just ambles sideways half the time and then watches CNK tear straight in at half the size.

FFS, Pompey and Montoya. Useless. There was nothing happening there. Come back in and allow your halfs to kick for a try or repeat set.

Wahs out in straight sets is my call. They’ve been on tilt for weeks. We were robbed vs them and Dragons too I thought.

Just on the today's game HK, faster game today compared to the hold downathon by the Drizzle.
Agree. Pennies defensive strength is on the line speed more so than mucking around in the ruck (though, they are capable of it at times).

Penrith second try. Its ok, its Cleary magic.

C'mon, how could the ref not call a 6 again for that? Ridiculous blatant hold down for too long

Seriously, and now that ridiculous knock-on call against the wahs. Gee is wanker. That was a Riff knock on, but couldn't see a thing, eh! And then the lack of clarity from the replays mean it stays in favour of the Riff. It's the subtle BS like that that is so frustrating with officials.

True, sometimes I think the attacking side wouldn't mind a hold down every now and then to get their breath back. Especially against Penrith.

100%..why Gee ruled that way is plainly so wrong.

Reffing in this one has been shocking. Very one sided. Not sure how this Gee bloke is still given games. He’s hopeless.

My point being, even if he didn't see it clearly (which he didn't), surely you would have to assume, Liam had a hand in there that caused Walker to put down what would have been a relatively straight-forward catch. It's unspoken subconscious bias and it's insidious.
