The NRL Finals Series - 2023

Did t mind the emotion being shown tbh. Poor Pap knows it may actually be it for him. If it is (and I hope it’s not) he’ll leave the game a premiership winner and CC medalist playing less than 100 games.
I venture to guess that part of a positive response to such setbacks is being able to acknowledge and talk about it. Whatever future lies ahead for Paps I sincerely hope he finds a way to resolve whatever stress and beliefs he may have emerging.

It's just a trail of carnage in the Storm sheds right now. How they get themselves up for another game next Friday night will be a Herculean task for Bellamy.

Having had a compound fracture it didn't look like one to me. Not much I haven't broken come to think of it..

Watched the replay on Kayo and it was Nas coming across landing on his leg. Didn’t see bone and couldn’t slow it right down but response was quick. Clean break bu the look. I’ve always felt Paps is a bit small. When you see Nas collect him, ouch.

Painful as.. Thank god for the whistles these days..

Knights v Faders game on Sunday will be Ricky's meltdown moment. Full house at drug castle as well 30k crowd, it'll be entertaining to watch.

Pap’s should never of been playing in the middle, his game last week was good, good enough to slot straight back in at 1, Meaney was ordinary, (6,7 and 9 all ordinary) I get Meaney’s done the job all year, but Bellyache blundered on this one, oh well. I feel for Paps, not Melbourne, suck on the loss, you got hammered from the get go, literally.

Thought the donkeys were great, they gave Melbourne a dose of their own, played tough and their defence, outstanding, they’ll make the Riff earn their 3 peat, in fact I think they have the game to get the job done, their pack is awesome, their spine, probably the best in the comp, with size and pace across the backline, they will be very hard to beat.

I do t think his position was a huge contributor to the injury, was just bad luck. I actually thought he looked well off the pace last week and last night. Didn’t think he should have been playing tbh.

Missed the game last night as was out and about but geez, poor Papy, tough luck for the guy!!

He was defending in the middle aiming up at front rowers, not ideal for literally the smallest man on the field, his all heart, too much so for his own good, his dynamic out the back, following the ball up, couldn’t understand what bellyache was thinking, there was noise in the media about Meaney deserving to hold his position, maybe bellyache heard it, maybe he made his own call, even so, if he did, it was the wrong one for mine.
