Some great bands there. The Animated Egg were a bunch of studio musicians headed by guitarist Jerry Cole. They never performed live, another similar album was The Inner Sounds of the Id. Cole played with just about everybody including The Byrds, Nancy and Frank Sinatra, Ry Cooder, Steely Dan,Jerry Lee Lewis, Roy Orbison, Aretha Franklin, The Righteous Brothers, Little Richard, Dean Martin, Merle Haggard, Ray Charles, Tony Orlando & Dawn, Lou Rawls, Johnny Rivers, Gregg Allman, Lee Hazlewood, Blood Sweat & Tears, Kenny Rogers, Neil Diamond, The Allman Brothers, Isaac Hayes and Charles Manson...

The first time I saw this clip I thought wow! This is what we need at Manly. Contortionists!!! Imagine having a couple of contortionists in the side. Every time a third man comes into tackle us...our guy quickly turns himself into a pretzel and lays on the ground screaming. There'd be penalties, send offs, free interchanges...not to mention the loose arms in the scrums we could get away with!! Make a note, Trent. Contortionists!
