if there was a way that we could sell their ground and use the cash to buy brookie and we played at Brookvale for all our home games and maybe one away game at shark park in but we kept the manly colours and strip and the club was called the Manly Sea Eagles and we just kept the best players we needed from them and cut the rest , then i reckon it could really work. oh and we would have to **** off Gallen too.

Wait a minute, now the Sharks are looking likely to be bought by the NRL. So, like the Gold Coast they will get all the preferential treatment and dealsand slowly the other clubs will become unviable and also come on board thus resulting in the NRL owning everything and doing what they want with it.

There is no way that would be anything other than a takeover... and we would come out second best.

As for the Sharks, it seems fairly obvious that the NRL will squeeze the smaller clubs until they sell, then relocate them to new markets. If they go, then we will probably be next.
