The knockers

Why would you choose to allow yourself to get disappointed by some words written in a forum?
"Disappointed" is not an overly intense emotion so I don't really understand the point you are trying to make?!

Abuse is rather intense so I don't really feel the need to alter my position at this stage.

We've had a go at the knockers. To balance the ledger, are any awards going to be handed out to those who exercised greater emotional intelligence? I believe I made a solitary post in the game day thread against Melbourne, which was to complement Tommy for his try assist to Wright. IIRC, I said the pass was very DCE like. It was a ****ing good pass

It's not a positive one either. And it was intense enough for you to initiate a judgmental and divisive post on here.

Anyway, I'm happy for you to maintain your position. And I'm happy to have shared some of my thoughts on it. There's plenty of good stuff we share as Manly supporters and I can live with some differences.

I tended to think that as well. It seemed like the Roosters cut us up at will but their execution was very, very poor. It seemed like they went the length of the field each set of six. We dodged a bullet today but I will take the two! I'm glad it wasn't just me!
Manly are clunky, lacking sharpness and the defence is lacking composure and prolonged intensity, yes there were some improvements in patches but not as much as people are making out---would of resulted in the same scoreline against the Storm with that performance.

The result was about wanting it more, home ground pride and Roosters playing weak in the second half(Yes Manly upped the ante but i wouldn't say by a huge degree)

I mentioned before the two big losses that fans should brace themselves for some points against us from the Dragons and Storm if the performances remained the same and once again a shock loss is on the cards in the near future if Manly perform to Sundays standard.

The thread was no more divisive and judgemental than the abuse it was calling out and I was voicing my opinion, which is the point of this forum. You are entitled to a reply and you've done that.

No dramas at my end.

Well let's call a truce then, I don't think I ever went over the top in any criticism and if you look at my post history I'm not a dick about things, I don't think!
We can call it a truce, but I never had an issue with you in the first place...I was just giving an opinion.

All good!

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Are you saying we will lose a game ..... ****! who would have ever thunked that!

I live the furthest away so am definitely the truest supporter.
I think those of us in other parts of the world are definitely the truest supporters. Distance gives us perspective and we have ignored the plethora of competing local sporting options to follow the Sea Eagles... why, I had to resist the pull and excitement of HK badminton and investment banking as sporting spectacles over here.

Just stating i wasn't happy with the performance of even the second half of the game, it looks better than it really was and not good enough to win all remaining games.

Manly playing to peak form should easily win the next four games but are not playing with enough sustained energy or sharpness in all facets of the game at the moment.

On top of that not liking the over-use of pet plays that showed a nice development in our game 2 months ago but are now looking old, lacking the general play set up in the previous tackles or wearing down a weakness over time to apply the play at the right moments, more a case of "we haven't used the play yet i think it is time we should" wrong mindset.
