I think he doesn't want to go there but he DOES want the fat pay check.

Good for him... Go torpedo your beloved Arfur's salary cap and collect your payday. If you could though, don't play too well once you're there.

From Sportal:

Kieran Foran is obviously the big signing Parramatta is sweating on, but Eels fans can also expect to see Foran's Manly teammate, prop James Hasson, in the blue and gold next season. Hasson, who at the age of 23 still has plenty of footy in front of him and who represented Ireland at the 2013 World Cup, has agreed to terms with the Eels on a one-year deal. In team news, don't be shocked to see hooker Isaac De Gois push for a late inclusion.

Please let that be true. Please let it be true.

PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hasson leaving was a sweetener for Manly fans to swallow the Foran pill. Hasson leaving is possibly the greatest news to come out of this season. It is better than the DCE backflip.

Far out Parra are amassing a fantastic group of Donkey's, first Gower now Hasson. Actually Donkeys are actually pretty hard workers with no frills whereas these two are more like shiit race horses they arent good for what they are designed for and they are no good as work horses either.

I am actually delighted Foz is leaving, He would have buggered us up financially if he stayed and apart from the 90 mins of good footy he has payed across this season i don't think we will miss him. I think he is leaving because he doesn't like having to take a back seat to DCE's superior game management skills.

And a two year deal means his next contract coincides with the new TV deal.

*gasp*

Problem is that in 2 years his body and potential will also be at Parra level.😀

Way to secure the Family's future - not 😎

Orr got Chez the most lucrative contract, along with stability for Manly's core

Lets hope Foran will celebrate his imminent reunion with Beloved Leader, with a mighty Manly win for us, the Great Unwashed of Brookie 😛

We really can only afford to keep one and its better that he goes to a weak club like the Eels to soften the blow.

With Blake Green ahead as a partner for Cooper Cronk, maybe we should ask for permission to talk to Ben Hampton? He has good speed and a takes the line on...would compliment DCE nicely who throws the ball around a bit more.

Nags, not donkeys

Thank god that's sorted, finally.
Now try and put in every week, for the rest of the season. That's what we are paying you to do.

lol I don't think Parra fans realise Foz is on the open market again at the end of next season haha

I believe we dodged a major bullet there.

(1) There are some serious question marks around his body's ability to support what he wants to do. I think a lot of re-curring injuries are the result of missing an underlying issue (looking too locally and symptomatically, and not thinking holistically), and the current crop of medical support personal are not trained to see it.

(2) The amount of money tied up in both he and DCE would have been crippling on the quality of the team. I know people point to the Storm as a model, but I also believe Bellamy has been exceptional in squeezing every bit of potential from those playing under him in the structures he has created.

That said, I wish the Fokker well.
