Disagree - Foran, knowing that Manly were stone motherless last, chose to play for NZ rather than having a week off to heal his strained hamstring. It is quite sad watching Foran's legacy sliding down the ****ter. Fans should not forget his contribution to the club, but I guess he has had the biggest say in all that.
However, his form and efforts of late suggest to me that injuries have definitely weighed against him in the popularity stakes.
I am glad he is leaving, but some of you on here have been over the top on your sledges. Seriously, it is time to back off, wish him well and hope he gets fit enough to play a role in our climbing the ladder in the weeks ahead.
No wow about it. He has indicated he does not want to be here. That's good enough for me.So you openly say your glad he's leaving the club for good, then suggest a few sentences later people are too harsh.
Wow.
I don't want running battles with all the learned fans on here-I just think it's sad given his past 8 years...count them 8 at this club. We are all disappointed at the ending I think. I am also not defending him at all. He brought it all on himself.Disagree - Foran, knowing that Manly were stone motherless last, chose to play for NZ rather than having a week off to heal his strained hamstring.
He played for NZ and tore it, so will not be helping Manly climb off the ladder for at least 6 more weeks.😡
Slater was just interviewed stating that his injury needed extra time to heal, so he forfeited a Test jumper to give it 2 more weeks to help his Club.

Foz has the same future that his mate Choc is living to look forward to. He will be hated by the Eels supporters and his impact on their salary cap will be monumental in coming years. They best re-sign Sandow because they won't be able to afford anyone else.Today proved we don't need him to win games, if we could have his form back from 2-3 years ago maybe but the last 20 games, no thanks.
I'll certainly remember his good games, and he hasn't trashed the club on the way out ( yet ) but I can't forgive him for " dogging it" for so long.
Injured, maybe, broken heart string, for sure!!
I would argue that him not playing is indeed helping us climb off the bottom of the ladderDisagree - Foran, knowing that Manly were stone motherless last, chose to play for NZ rather than having a week off to heal his strained hamstring.

Let's hope Foran can overcome his issues and get back sooner rather than later because he is a fantastic bloke
