The door is closed, they walked out the door a while back and I cant wait for round 13 so this endless speculation ends, such a shame cause they could have created a dynasty, however we move on as a club and ensure we never make this mistake again.
 
Foran needs a Daddy figure in his life to make him feel good and comfortable, as his father is not. Akways overseas on business running Kmart.

Dessy did fit that role and now it Dalai Arthur. As long as Foran has these personal issues, much like Boyd following Bennet from club to club he will always need a Daddy figure.

Toovey ain't no Daddy figure, unless Fulton is going to step up to that role.

Let him go

Maybe he should move in with Rolf Harris. He likes being a father figure to young boys.

I think tooves is just frustrated. He finally gets most of the squad back. Then Foz gets selected for NZ. Manly tell NZ he has a hamstring problem, but the Docters let him play. He then suffers an injury in the first half and they let him play on. I understand Foz wants to play but isn't there some thought given to his fitness.

It's interesting that they're doing media releases about it.
 
There is another article about this foran saga in The Roar this morning but i just like the last paragraph :
But never fear, Eels fans. This could turn out to be nothing, even just a gross exaggeration on my part to unfairly generate fear among a tortured fan-base that deserves a break. Heck, Foran could even end up being the buy of the millennium that guides you to the much-craved premiership you all deserve. Provided he doesn’t flee turmoil.

I reckon as long as he doesn’t read the newspaper, talk to anyone in a suit, or become too attached to Brad Arthur or any of the six coaches that follow him, he should be sweet.

Big Willie says that Kieran’s hamstring injury sucks

SEA Eagles veteran Willie

has summed up the feelings of the entire Manly club and their supporters after the terrible news fiveeighth will be sidelined again with a hamstring injury.

“That sucks, I feel sorry for him,” Mason said.

“He knows this is his last year here and he wants to play his best football.

“He loves all the boys and it is a shame.”

But maybe the timing of the injury is not as bad as it could have been for the Sea Eagles.

“We have two byes in four weeks and he might only miss three games hopefully,” Mason said. Backrower

said it had been a tough start to the season for Foran.

“And a massive loss for us, he is obviously one of our best players,” Symonds said.

“At the moment it is very frustrating for him.

“But it’s only round nine and I’m sure he has plenty of time to turn it around.

“And we are still confident we can do a job and have top quality players come into the seventeen,” Symonds said.

MUM’S THE WORD

SEA Eagles players remain none the wiser about the future of halfback Daly Cherry-Evans.

“We are good mates but he doesn’t tell me too much about that,” Symonds said.

“If Cherry ended up staying that would be great.”

And coach Geoff Toovey had no update on the club’s possible interest in signing

“I haven’t heard anything there. I think he has a contract in France,” he said.

“We’re looking at all players that are on or off contract in the NRL and overseas.”
 
If Foran does a backflip and not aggravate his hammy, I do not think he will be rushing back to Manly. Don't be surprised if Canterbury take him and don't be surprised if it is for $800k tops.

Good. Don't want him here for 150k let alone almost a million. That invrstment.in him will likely kill off a roster.
