As all agree, Jake is a 13 or an 8. The problems arise on how Walker is used as a 14. We have seen games where his roving 13 has been good. Other games we needed another forward to come on. All falls on the coach to modify his use of the bench during the game.

That 's why Lawton can still be included on the bench with reverting Jake to a prop role when Walker is the [ or was ] the 14 . Pushing the limit a bit having both Walker and Lawton on the bench and especially if Bullemor makes a good impression early to be in the game day 17 . Really getting a bit indifferent to Dylan staying now , if he can"t or is not prepared to show some reciprocal commitment and loyalty and stay on some reasonable money , well guess that he can clear off with not much goodwill deserved from the average Manly fan .

I hope Walker stays but let's play him at centre if he does. Jakes role has been questioned in this thread, but it's mostly been because of how his role has been impacted by Walker coming on to play lock. Obviously that means we have an additional small, ball playing forward on at the same time as Jake, and we are short a prop in the middle. Walker as a centre, means we can simultaneously resolve this issue, and improve our centres. Let Jake play the role he has always played for us, and Walker the position that he was arguably born to play.
Yeah but then you have Walker defending at Centre, which is a negative

relation to corey maybe?
if so cue the jake to dogs rumours

edit: never mind, found this from the riff website:

The Waddell family is incredibly tight-knit, with Corey sharing a special bond with older sister Alix and his mum Melinda.

Unlike other families, no doubt. This bond is much stronger given it is “incredibly tight-knit”.

Evidence suggests that the bonds exhibited by other families are demonstrably looser. They range from non-existent to not quite as tight-knit as the Waddell family bond.
