• Ennis leaves due to politics (great coach, recently retired, will be a head coach)
• DCE blatantly thumbing his nose at the club and not giving a toss (so arrogant, but maybe, so justified?)
• Watmough hammering Seibold whilst he is the current Jersey Flegg coach (how's that for a disconnected pathways system)
• David O'Donnell punted as pathways boss
• Old boys pushing for Jason King and Matt Ballin
• Penn family being approached - club's not for sale, but there's no family investment above NRL grants and general revenue streams of sponsorship, membership, merchandise and gates, etc

It could be the last season of the Trbojevic era (last premiership chance saloon), and simultaneously the dawn of a new era, based on some exciting younger players coming through. I am not giving up on 2026 just yet.

Judging by the thread title, it appears accurate, with ST members imploding on 1 another along with the once Mighty club.
I actually think we need the thing (club) to blow up, almost like earth going through an ice age to regenerate life forms and pretty flowers, as the club has become dark and outdated and by the evidence, a pretty ugly place to be around at the minute.
Some new life injected into the side for 2026 and can see it being a better all round side, but still off the pace, but by 2027....I'm calling it now, "The Seaeagle will Rise from the Ashes" as my good mate Bozo would say.....
I had too add to this -
"'Rise" does not mean Win ...simply start climbing rather than descending and this is due to players coming through and cap space I know that will be available at this time.
