Not really @Budgie I also think "the club is absolutely a basket case". It has been that way to one degree or another since Scotty & Co took it over. Unfortunately, that's probably not going to change anytime soon. However, IMO the posting of made-up nonsense as "facts", and not opinion, is counterproductive to creating "healthy" discussion on club issues. IMHO, the reality is that the club is not in any danger of imminent implosion.

There’s no such thing as healthy discussion on here , I really lament this as in years gone by there was always brilliant discussions on here , mostly respectful , often enlightening.

Sure there are some things wrong and the dysfunction needs to be addressed. We just had a rotten season and its important that the club addresses the issues mentioned. No point in any pre-knee jerk reactions.

Exactly , knee jerk reactions aren’t needed.

We had a **** year , but the EIGHT clubs below us all had ****ier years than us.

And there’s nothing like losing to cause the old “ dysfunction issue “ to raise its ugly head.

Look at our injury list , right through the year but particularly towards the end , we were ONE game away from a spot in the 8 and THREE games away from a top 4 position.

I’m not suggesting injuries are the cause of all our failures but they sure as hell didn’t help.

Don’t get me wrong , things are far from perfect , but suggesting the club is about to implode is laughable.

Things would be 100% different if the owner ( Mr Fluffy ) decided to invest some big dollars into the club to get us some success , this is where it all starts.

i constantly ask the ex and current nrl players i know as well as some coaching staff from other clubs...they all say one thing....siebold cant coach at this level...so it would be highly likely the current team are of the same view. I cannot find one person in the game that says otherwise .

Its sad to see club legends like Turbo, Jake and the recently departed DCE doesn’t want to be coached by Seibold. Mestrov and Penn need to remove him before this club implodes in the off season. But knowing how tight Penn is with $$$, it won't happen unfortunately.
