Injuries crippled us last year. This year if we were injury free, Des would still be running with Suli, Walker, Siro, JetSki,and Tafua.
Guac would still be getting pissy 20 minute stints. Shuster who knows?Harper doesn’t get a gig if Suli was injury free.
Sure Des is a good coach, but do you really think without the injuries, the young guns would be getting a crack. But the catalyst for our recent form is obviously Tommy, and the confidence he’s brought to the young blokes.

Your right. 100% on that. Paseka should make that team as first prop chosen. Unfortunately Davey would drop out of the seventeen to make that happen. Paseka to starting prop. Aloiai to the bench. Sirro, Davey or Saddler for 18th man. Our forward depth is looking fantastic for 2022.

Of course the elephant in the room is the haircut. So bad that it's made me notice the the dos of players throughout the NRL. I have now come to the conclusion that this is the worst year for haircuts since the 1970s.

Haumole is light years ahead of Jetski and Siro.
Shoe and Haumole have been so good for us on both sides of the ball. Siros pathetic running inside and starving the backs of ball and Jetskis errors and missed tackles killed our momentum.
They (ski & Siro) both try but are a step below what we have now. Even Keppie outplayed them both in the back row errors and all.

The difference in the team over the past 6 weeks has been the inclusion of guacca, Shuster, Sipley and Lionel Ritchie aka Harper

Oh and Turbo has had a bit of an effect as well

Sironen gets a bad wrap on here but I think Des will want him if not starting as a bench cover for both backrow and the forward rotation. Also with the depth I don't think we need to play the same 17 every week if fully fit. It would be good to rest a forward every other week so we are prepared going into finals (who would have thought we were a chance after 4 rounds).
