The Daly Cherrygraph

Cleary was clearly outplayed over the 80 minutes tonight by DCE.

I agree DCE's first half was ordinary, but Clearys wasnt much better. DCE towelled him up in the 2nd half.
Cleary kicked on the third for no result.
Cleary attempt ted a 40/20 which hopoa kept in, but was judged touch.
Without that bad call Penrith don't score and Cleary didn't okay well

Sure, with a plethora of restarts, penalties and possession in our favour.

What does Hughes, Cleary, Trindall do when they have all the momentum? I'll give you a red hot tip....it isn't kicking possession away on tackle 2, 3, and 4...they build even more possession and momentum, not piss it away
Hughes and Cleary have been part of almost perfect machines for the past 6 years. That allows them to control the narrative. Trindall? What's he won again?

Think Seibold was alluding to the fact DCE has been carrying an injury last few weeks. Probably that back issue. Certainly explains his form since then. Last night definitely much improved let's hope it and the Turbo return continues. Whatever he's doing next year who cares now. Just get on with winning.

Correct. Said DCE hadn't trained much in the last few weeks as he's had 'some niggles'. I thought that was rather telling, as we'd been speculating on here the reasons for his poor form - some suggesting he's still been recovering from his back spasms in NZ. Now it seems they could well be true.

Recovered in time for Origin, same as Tom. I'm just glad we're not having to do the usual magic round weekend sacrifice to the Broncos. Amazing how it's never a Broncos home game too. The bias towards them is criminal.

That was a beautiful play. Just perfection. They need more plays like that using Tom as the decoy. Whoever the poor panthers player was got exposed badly sitting on Tom
If it's a well rehearsed move and everyone does their job to perfection then it's very hard for the defence to stop. And can you blame anyone for targeting Tom?
We did the scrum move last year when Brooks popped the ball up seemingly to no-one and DCE ran onto it. In interview they said they had tried it a few times in training and it hadn't worked out once
