Spud is 100% right
And im sure there are many other ex Manly players filthy at just how DCE has handled all this.. it's totally disrespectful to the club and the fans.
Many are not saying anything because they love the club just like us fans they become Manly to tyne core, they don't want to destabilise this season any more than DCE already has.
We are talking about a bloke who won premierships with us..bled for the jersey and regardless of what Bozo says about Spud wanting the cash.. Spud is still Manly to this day regardless of who else he played for.
That for me tells me the guy more than qualifies to have his say and be respected.
F@#k DCE he will go and he will be forgotten, he's shown he's true colours and they never were Maroon And White.
So yes he's tarnished his legacy in the way he's conducted himself at present.
And come the end of the season I think you will find many a "real" Manly player will have exactly the same thoughts and words as Spud.
I saw Spud (NRL tonight) talk about the DCE issue on the Tuesday night after the announcement on Monday night, and if anything he was disappointed in the club and wondered what went wrong and why did management drop the ball on this one.
Fast forward a week and Spud has now changed his tune, he's obviously seen the DCE carry on and spoken to people close to the club who knows the facts.
Spud is no mug, he's come out now because it's clear to him that DCE had been deceitful and not only that he's trying to further damage the club on his way out.
ANY REAL MANLY person wouldn't put up with that s@#t.
