And it doesn't make sense to me that Mestrov would keep leaking to the press and risk derailing the season. It's still his job for the team to do well or HE'LL be out the door.

Just speculating here, but it was Mestrov who sacked DCE's mate Dessie after the pride jersey fiasco.

(also, a fair bit has been written about Seibold not being at DCE's wedding. Well why would he be invited when he was the guy who replaced his mate as head coach? Interestingly, I do recall at the time of the wedding it was reported that Des was invited and did attend...)

Did you ask for a release pre2024 and if so, why and where were you going.

Why did you think it was a good idea to do a TV interview rather than do a press release and alongside the club representatives announce your departure and replicate what you said that there is no problems with you and the club. Can't you see what you did raises obvious questions.

If you don't know where you will play yet, and you want to give manly the opportunity to plan moving forward, doesn't this apply to the potential new club you may play for. All clubs need a decision from you within a timeframe so they can move on and recruit elsewhere if they need to. Why is manly ruled out but not other clubs.

Agree! I don’t understand why he came out publicly & broke the news he was leaving? Why could he & the club not just have kept it in house? He said, she said!!! So after the week that was he wasn’t booed on Sunday. He had a good game, everyone was happy, yet he again chose to make comments to the media! WTF!

There's always the conspiracy theory, which I don't think is beyond the realms of possibility, or he was simply defending himself against inaccurate reports...but for a guy that has openly stated he doesn't like the media attention, he sure gave them a headline after the game.

Honestly why are we still doing this? Things will go so much smoother if we just accept that he's leaving (which will ultimately be a good and necessary thing for the squad), enjoy the fact that the news hasn't derailed the squad, and move on?
