That’s the dogs stupid fault! Well if only it was like the good old days, we could just go out there on Wednesday and belt them with a swinging arm, introduce them to the turf in a bone jarring spear tackle or better yet just bashed them in a good old fashion on field fight, ohhh I miss the good old days.
I remember how thinking of origin in the good old days used to excite me, I couldn‘t wait, knowing it would be brutal and erupt into a full blown on field battle, it was a given we would be entertained with a truely physical and enjoyable spectacle each and every time, thinking about this Wednesday’s game and the possible B/S we could be served up just makes me cringe, hope I’m wrong.

Yeah i am of the same opinion. Approaching the game with hope it wont be destroyed by the latest interpretations. I think though id be less impressed if they let it roll as per normal

After what they have done to the comp to allow leniency in origin it would be pretty solid proof that the networks are running the game.

As an example if 2 qld players were binned and nsw win by 30 the rest of the series would be a huge problem for those who vested millions into it. The disatisfaction by fans would leave a nasty hole in ch9 revenues for the rest of the series

The NRL has pushed itself into a lose lose problem with the only saving grace is that players change technique, players dont milk penalties and that the 15 new crusher variants that the NRL has invented are completely ignored as most should have been

Be interesting to see how much they care about player welfare
