Mick from qld is right we need to go really hard for Elgey myles and bird and any other quality players. With the roosters offering Maloney 400k max surely we can offer him more and convince him to come to us. We gotta start getting some signings.

I am far from convinced by DCE's 'nothing's changed' comments though that a back flip is still not a good chance.
What happened to the Titans giving him a say in recruitment? Sounds like they are not keeping their end of that deal if he wants Myles to stay at The Titans and they want to let him go.

when DCE says "there have been no changes to my contract situation"
doesn't he mean -
I am under contract to Manly for the 2015 season
I have signed a non-binding agreement (or whatever) with the titans to play with them from 2016 onwards.
I have until round 13 to opt out of this non-binding agreement with the titans.

The Fact that he has not said " I will be with the titans next year, and under no circumstances will I back out of this agreement" means to me that he has not said anything...

It would be relativly easy and leave everyone in no misapprehension as to his intentions If he said the abov...TFW...

DCE dancing around these questions to me spells "backfill in progress". Until Manly generate enough money via 3rd party deals, this will continue. Once DCE resigns Myles will be announced not long after.
Why on earth would he not answer the questions if he has nothing to hide. Why would he only make a statement.
This is Erin Molans fault that this is blown up the way it has. Now its making DCE look like a peanut in the media.
Manly could of done this behind closed doors and it not be a issue, no speculation and us be non the wiser.
