The Daly Cherrygraph

I hope I'm wrong (it has been known to happen) but I think the silence is simply confirmation that nothing has changed with his contract situation with the Tits and he will be honouring his deal. If nothing has changed with his contract, why does he have to say anything? And isn't that what he has already said (albeit quite vaguely)?

IMO all the media speculation is just more anti-Manly muck racking, click generating, rubbish.

I really do hope I'm wrong. Btw, I couldn't let this epic thread pass without chiming in.
Or there are lot of dominoes that need setting up... Lussick, coach , third part deals. It's silent cause this is when things get done. Also I would not be surprised if the tits up their offer, in some way. So there are chess moves being made against the clock.

I am hopeful though of big, exciting announcements about the club for 2016.

Who says he is leaving it last minute? Maybe he has made his mind up and he and officials are keeping it quiet to prevent the Titans counter offering
We can all hope this is how it is, but its starting to look increasingly unlikely. Think however he did make up his mind, weeks ago. Bozo knows the truth. And he would be ruthless i would imagine, in business. He was ruthless and clever on the field and as a coach. But DCE is a mercenary, and its lucky for him he's been "putting in", on the field.

Is there a chance manly has made him a great offer and he has signed with a clause to keep it hush until D Day to avoid titan counter offers to Miles

We're at the point now where definitive confirmation one way or the other is imminent. I don't think anything new will surface (except maybe official confirmation of Lussick's signature) until we hear the final decision.

What is happening? Unlike most posters, I haven't a clue
1. Manly's holding back their offer until there's no time for Titans counteroffers
2. Manly have a signature and don't want it announced for tactical reasons
3. Manly aren't interested, but want Titans to get spooked and up their offer
4. Manly's given their best offer, and Daly's not committing hoping for a better one
5. Daly's waiting for the bros to be sorted before signing
6. Daly's waiting for the bros to be sorted and then won't sign

Tripple M

There may be speculation over who will be in charge at Manly next season but one thing is for certain and that is Darcy Lussick will be return to Brookie in 2016.

Parramatta have struggled this season but one bright light has been the form of Darcy Lussick who has attracted attention from a few club with Manly securing his signature for next season.

Manly will have a big gap in their salary cap if Cherry-Evans is to leave for the Gold Coast and the club are intent on bolstering the pack having already brought in Nate Myles

Lussick had two years with the Sea Eagles from 2011-2012 and Ready told Triple M Rush Hour he has now signed a newthree year deal with his former club.

Further, what happened to the clubs stance on wanting to have things resolved before the end of last week...I totally understand that negotiations can take time but when does the club take back control of it's own destiny.
I believe they tried taking a hardline stance with DCE and his negotiations once before and it didn't turn out too good.
