Fortunately it is not where I live full time. I was evacuated. The house is fine thank god, but it was terrifying

Currently at vincentia on the south Coast with the wife and baby. 3pm today looked more like midnight, was really hard to believe. Hope everyone's safe tonight, happy Nye
Quite unbelievable. And here we are frantically watching fires near me and listening to the howling wind wondering if we’ll have to evacuate due to a fire set by a couple of little brats. Unbelievable.

The sad sad fact we can’t escape is most of these fires have been lit by humans.
In QLD alone they’ve apparently charged 84 people , many of them kids, with the fires we had in November.
Id imagine similar figures will come out about the current NSW and VIC situation.
Disgraceful.
