The Bully files

But we extended Aloiai instead. Who ever was in charge of that one needs some serious words said to them around talent spotting.
I agree they got that Aloiai one horribly wrong, though on the NRL signings tracker his contract beyond this year is not showing.

On the positive side extending Hoppa was a huge one along with the long term signings of Tent and Haumole, now to extend Bully.

Bull is great with the footy but needs to hit and stick more consistently in defence. Don't think he has hit his ceiling yet but he is a keeper.

Hard to say what Bully "s current form level would rate contract wise and still quite surprising no indication on his re signing .
General carries and support play , top shelf , defence still a bit of a work in progress .
Maybe in that 375 - 400 K range and no idea what he is on now , probably modest with his previous background with the club .
May have to try to back end any future deal in conjunction with finally moving Alioia on soon but again just no clear indication or apparent concern from club or player on his future contract status .
Have to take into account that Taukeiaho 's stay may not be all that long and as impressive he has been or produced so far

A strong start to this season is important because a lot depends on the club continuing to build on the last 2 seasons improvements.
When Manly is accepted as a club 'on the rise' (almost there as of now) recruitment/retention will become easier and options more plentiful.

Can only hope so
