I just thought I'd bring your attention to a lovely piece of work from our good friend Haig about the merits of the various forums. It's on his Sea Eagles Unmasked site. I don't have the link but not to worry, it's hardly well patronised.

- Ease of Registering – 1 (very hard to do when you’re continually banned)
- Ease of use- 4 (it is a site for dummies after all)
- Quantity of posts- 5 in the I’m bored thread. 3 for everywhere else.
- Quality of content- 1 in the I’m bored thread. 0.5 everywhere else (I’ve never been able to master the Conga)
- Comments- A good place to go if you if you like to read inane nonsense about how well a 13th placed side is REALLY going. Also a good place to read messages of praise to Zorba. Generally not a good place if you’re a fan of the English language and/or rational assessment.

- Ease of Registering – 5 They need everyone they can get these days.
- Ease of use- 3 It’s not as though it’s going to crash from an overload of traffic.
- Quantity of posts- 1. And that’s counting the tumbleweed and spider webs.
- Quality of content- 2
- Comments- About the only exciting thing that’s gone on over there in the last six months is a homely little thread about where sea eagles fans lives. Don’t let the post count fool you though, every second post belongs to the site owner.

- Ease of Registering – 0 Don’t bother even trying unless you’re not in with the ‘in’ crowd aka Manly’s unfortunate rump of red neck fringe.
- Ease of use- 3 It has to be as user friendly as the Centrelink site.
- Quantity of posts- 0 I couldn’t see any for the tumbleweed and spider webs. The banjos stacked in the corner were a nice touch.
- Quality of content- 0 It might make sense to the mentally deranged.
- Comments- Basically a club for mummy’s boys and apologists that are too scared to come out into the big bad world.

Firstly, I need to be professional and admit to a conflict of interest as I supply material to this site. Therefore it would be inappropriate and unprofessional for me to provide a score. However, I will provide my perspective based on blind tastings.

- Ease of Registering – As I don’t get banned here it’s been a long time since I’ve had to register.
- Ease of use- It seems to work okay.
- Quantity of posts- There are quite a few though the daily count would be halved if Fluffy wasn’t around.
- Quality of content- When the threads aren’t hi-jacked there’s some reasonable debate going on.
- Comments- A pretty good start for Manly’s newest forum. One of the few places where a spade is called a bloody shovel and the moderators don’t collapse in a quivering heap.

Quality of posts? Haig's gotta be kidding or maybe he thinks that playing with marbles is a sign of maturity.

As for OEE being policed I can't agree. It is a fact that if Aaron had cleared out the rubbish posts this site wouldn't probably exist (and in many ways I am glad it happened).

I don't mind some of his articles but I am starting to wonder about where his mind is at.

- How is it that Haig is using the official Manly logo?
- I have a better list of links in my Favorites folder than he has listed.
- All the content (articles) is more than three months old.

I really can't see why he has bothered with this site. A portal to nowhere.
