The Anthony Seibold Grievances MEGA THREAD

Have you seen the club, players or coach whinge and or blame the ref?

No - in fact some supporters here get angry at our coach for not getting angry in the pressers.

You be strong and meme all you want buddy - it has no impact on our team
You must be logged on another site feathered friend if you think that there is no whinging on here and excuses from our failing club that is going through our biggest premiership winning drought in our proud history

I am strong in principle for our Legendry clubs High standards
and unless we lift our standards we will have no impact in living up to our high Benchmark standards as the Greatest club of all once again

Thank you for your reply
Ball control is also a possession factor and all the errors in our game the dropped balls and bombed tries and all the wrong options we took also made it harder on our selves
We also lacked Tenacity and resolute composure which is vital in out final games ahead against much more superior opposition than the last placed wooden spooners . If we managed our game better we would have given our selves the opportunity to win the game but we failed to do that
In a game that mattered to our top 4 quest ,We were far from terrific .
We can both agree that we were terrible
The Good news is that our Finals Adventure is far from over . We have the opportunity to Rise like Great Eagles again and become the Terrific team that we are capable of
I love your posts on here Bozo and agree with so much about "cut these BS excuses" 90% of the time....but at times, like the point Mark is making which is 100% fact about the fatigue after some dodgy calls, it's not an excuse - just a true observation......yes Manly also contributed to there own demise and I feel Mark summed that up also.
We all know the bottom line is Manly need to be better if we want to be a genuine Premiership threat, but my point is, not everything is an excuse when explaining what went wrong.
Anyways, hope your doing well though champ and staying fit and fresh as always !
Let's get those dirty Dogs tonight I say @;)

I am not surprised we lost to the Tigers with 3 players sin binned. Most sides would have. IMO the refereeing played a huge part in that outcome. Yes our pack were overpowered but they were eventually gassed.
3 sin binnings, 6 nill penalty count at one stage, throw in the 6 agains. Perfect Storm for a big loss.

I love your passionate point of views as well feathered friend and I hope you are keeping happy and healthy in your Eagle nest singing all those great songs of yours

We both have a different point for view on this one
You talk about fatigue under duress
I talk about resilience under duress
and it all depends on what standards we use to validate our point of view

I talk about our Legendary clubs resilient Benchmark Premiership winning standards that our 1978 Premiership winning team demonstrated
Our Resilient Eagles played 6 games in 24 days to win the grand final and most of our fatigued players were busted and needed injections to get on the field . Our Enforcer Terry Randal needed 6 injections , 4 in his busted shoulder and two in his groin
We will once again agree to disagree and always be feathered friends and love our Manly

I agree with you about those Dirty Dogs
Tonight we will rub their noses in the dirt
Sing with me Maxta
All together now !
Dirty Dogs (done dirt cheap)
Dirty Dogs (done dirt cheap)
Dirty Dogs (done dirt cheap)
Dirty Dogs and they're done dirt cheap
Dirty Dogs and they're done dirt cheap

Maybe you can do a cover Version @maxta ?
Would love to hear it !

Long way to go in this game but props to Seibold for playing Koula on the bench... master-stroke once Saab got injured (in a hip drop that, as usual, we get SFA out of)
I like the tactic in running the big men up the middle and hitting inside runners like Guaca, giving numbers on the edges, well done to Seibold for playing Lodge, set the precedent in the middle and no Surprises that Tent plays better..

We needed to win this in tge middle of the ruck and so far (touch wood) they are doing that...

I am not a Lodge fan but he has been huge... and Guac is playing his best game all year - looks full of energy and intent...

...and props to the coaches for the old fashioned wrap around play that got Saab his try... 👏👏👏
