I reckon Manly did hang in there, but also don't think Brisbane through a lot at them in attack and were there to be beaten tonight.
Looking back at "moments " like the crazy Garrick kick on tackle 2 with DCE inside and Ben T having the ball knocked out of mits ingoal and a few others.....if more composed would have got it done.
There seemed a few players in everything - Koula - Oka and Talau, but a few others unfortunately lacked the same energy and when Manly wrestled a 12 all score, it was a game that was there to Win, yet found a way to lose it.
I'll be back supporting the boys next week, but the team needs to take a long hard look and Seibold needs to stop the excuses as this creates a weak and "losing" mentality.

Jesus's I'd need consider supporting another sport if that was to happen. That's even more desperate than souths signing WB for three years when there's no guarantee he'll live long enough to see out the contract.

We all support Manly here on Silvertails, win or lose.

However,a lot of us won't put up with mediocrity. We want our proud club to be competing for the 8 and the premiership every year.

Anthony Seibold's comments serve as a good reminder as to why it takes a particular type of person to coach at our club. Stating the obvious, we are a club bred on a desire to win, leading to title success. While it dosent necessarily require that the coach must have played for the Sea Eagles, it does require that they have our type of culture and DNA. The demand for excellence and premierships, that's us, not the mediocrity in both the current performances and the coaches language too. The available coach which I believe suits us is John Morris. That is a change which, unless there is a consistent and what seems a monumental turnaround taking place, should take place. The current coaches days are surely becoming numbered. We are coming off a poor 2023 season and I will not accept this constant excuse that the team revolves around one player in Tom Trbojevic. If thats the case, then Cherry-Evans, Olakau'atu, Brooks, Koula,and Jake Trbojevic can hand back their salaries. I hope the club does not repeat the Barrett situation where not only should he have not been initially signed, he should have been exited alot earlier too.

I think Arthur cops a bad rap from Manly fans,purely on the fact he was Parra’s coach.He just stayed too long there.He’s a very good defensive coach and there’s no doubt Manly need that help

Somebody at Manly needs to get some big arse 3rd party and we need to offer the clearys A truck load as a combo. Someone in property and offer them a lifestyle deal unheard of in rugby league. Circumvent the rules like never ever before. Make them close the loophole after we do it .Make sure no more than 1.5 on cap and we are back .
