I hate to say it, but Tom is a career injury professional. He is doomed to repeat injuries, he is NO CAM SMITH unfortunately. Nik Kosef comes to mind and there are plenty of others. I genuinely wish we had a Tommy Turbo as resilient as a Cam Smith, but we don't.

To be fair James Tedesco was similar early in his career perhaps even more injury prone than Tommy however look at him now he never gets injured. Let’s hope Tom follows a similar path.

Anyone close to 7 foot in our game who isnt a forward has the cards stacked against them. I dont want to be negative but its going to be a career thing for Tom. He doesnt have the bulk of a forward but playes close to one at times.

It’s his age. He’ll be stronger in future years. Tedesco was injured a lot earlier in his career, but string now at 26.
