Tallyn Da Silva

Don't think it will happen however imagine a pack of Paseka, TDS, Bullemore, Ola, Burbo, Jazz RES Simpkins, Jurbo, Laiafi, NEW. Looks immediately more enticing.

I've heard reports it is permission to negotiate for 27???
I think the idea, from Tigers point of view, was that if they let him go now or end of this season, they can get some sort of compensation,$$ or even a player, which is why the Knights were in the conversation due to KPP,who is already heading to Wests in ‘26.Where as if they make him stay til the end of his contract, they get nothing for him and run the risk of having an unhappy player at the club

Certainly getting some wraps , haven 't seen him play but again looks like a 9 who could really go on with it .
Still have Croker on the books next year and even Simpkin i think , maybe not and Jazz is only signed for this season .
Wonder what his market price would be now , probably not inconsiderable but if Manly are a shot and he is as good as some say , could be a real boost to the pack if they could somehow nail him

According to Brent Read, Parra are the favourites to sign him. We’re still in contention and meeting with him this week, but Parra currently have the upper hand.
I'm sure when Talyn sits down with our well-connected owner and hears the vision and all the benefits of being associated with our great club he will be swayed to join us.
(he'll just have to quickly pop over to New York to meet him of course)

You’d think with all the uncertainty around Seibs and the way we’re tracking, especially with Parra on the up, he’ll probably sign with them soon—unless we pay big, which I doubt we can. Honestly, I just haven't seen enough from him yet to really say we should go all-in on chasing him.

I think we are good chance. We’ve got two members of staff from Westfields Sports, who I imagine worked with Da Silva. We’ve got a clear opening, whereas Para have Smith.

Interestingly, I heard we’ve previously gone after both players but missed out. If Da Silva signs with Eels, chances are we’ll go after Smith again.

Both are an upgrade on what we’ve got.
