Now I've never played NRL, and had to back up again for a club game @Kevinward777, but I do recall reading from older players I the past that they would prefer to back up on a Friday, as opposed to Sunday arvo.

That's strange. I always felt 2 days after the pain was at its worst. By Saturday/Sunday they should be good to go again. Agreed, I wouldn't risk Tom.

We should take a leaf out of NSW’s book and start Jake in the front row. Marty is much better coming off the bench at this stage in his career and with Schuster/Haumole/Siro likely to come back it could free up another spot for them in the back row

Think Tuitavake might take a bench spot as he played for BWSE yesterday and a good hit out. No update on Schu but Guaca was expected back after Bye as well. Des has had his hands tied with forward out hence why few backs occupy the bench but that may be changing from next week.
