I made the GF in two of three leagues last year and didn't even work out the best way to play until about round 15.  So this year look out.

I wanted to have the Melbourne side from 2 years ago as my team but i couldn't fit them all under the salary cap!

Got two Storm players in my team, would never take Slater on principle though.

Much to my shame I have one Eels player in my team, very hard to justify that one but there was no other players in the price range I was looking at.

Couldn't bring myself to pick up B.Stewart either, is it just me or is he ridiculously overpriced given that he has more or less spent two years out of the game & is no certainty to start immediately?

I think an awesome idea would be making a game out of this

Imagine the yearly stats winners/runners up playing a game against eachother,Supercoach cup

The coaches would change year by year in pairs
The coaches would be eachothers Arch Rivals
The event would be after 4 nations and non negotiable
if you play NRL and are not injured

In case of injury the players would see a Neutral doctor,
selected by whoevers running the show to give a fair
unbiased diagnosis to make sure theres no bull**** injuries

I have 10k left over. If I have an injury I am ****ed.

Am banking on Luke and Parker having big years as well as thought I would get in with a certain player who missed all of last year so is worth next to nothing but has a good record for the years he has played, not brett

Just a tip mate. I'd be leaving Parker and Luke out of my team at this stage. They will only go down in value early on. You'll pick them both up for a saving of around 30-40k each after the 3rd round.

hmm Am not settled on my team yet anyway so may as well at least think about it.

I guess I know what I end up doing and I will end up buying another player for overs and not having the money to pick them up in a few weeks
