I agree but with the recent changes it is getting a lot closer. Any income of any sort coming out of Super at age 60 is tax free. Will they change the rules by the time you guys hit 60?- maybe, but I doubt it.

The way it stands, and for money you don't really need to touch, Super is looking very good. That doesn't mean there aren't lots of other top ways to invest outside of it, especially if you want to re-invest funds and you can get the tax rate under 15%.

My comment on hyper inflation is that I suspect most people of my generation will find their "nest egg" worthless thanks to hyper inflation.
