I got tested a couple of months ago at Penrith, got my results in less than 24 hours - in fact, arrived by sms at 3 am. Which was quite handy, as I couldn't sleep that night, for some reason.

You have to stay isolated until you receive your results. You will still have to await results of any further testing anyway.

No we got told we have to stay isolated until we are advised by NSW Health that we are free regardless of the result (close contact), but I need my result so why wife can go back to work.

FYI she just called the pathology place and they have no idea where my test is lol

I went to a testing centre at 61 Darley Street in Mona Vale - on the corner of Darley & Barrenjoey Road.

I was there all of 5 minutes so if anyone's looking for somewhere to get tested & not have to queue for hours this place is it.

The mate who told me about it said he got his result last night after going there yesterday arvo.

Are you people getting tested because you feel ill? I wouldn't go unless you need to go. You will clog up the system and could catch it from someone already there. Maybe they are delaying telling people they have tested negative to try and keep people at home as long as possible, fingers crossed

Yeah that’s what I was thinking. They are holding off giving the results to eat up quarantine time.

just got my results anyway - took 48 hours but negative.

Hey I got tested a few weeks ago. They did an ultrasound to measure the blood flow to my brain ( I fainted and fell on the floor and fractured my C6 & C7) they found nothing,,,, so I have no brain, hmmmm. They did a ECG on on my heart but that came up negative as well - so I have no heart? They did a colonoscopy and found me full of sh&t, No Bowel cancer thank goodness.

Anyway, copping heaps from my kids..... but at 60, I'm still dancing!
