It's the same uncomposed crap in all the big games, we struggle with field position through a lack of direct disciplined go forward or squandering the momentum swing when we get the chance with rushed decision making.

DCE goes down the short side and pushes the play which is a rush of blood when wrestling back field position and time with the ball was required, there is always too much nervous tension in our play in the first 20mins of the first half of games that digs Manly a hole in the big games.

Jake goes through a mountain of defence but we shouldn't be complimenting that kind of effort because in some ways the lack of effective go forward from Jake, the lack of spark from Schuster, the lack of direct running from Haumole and the lack of leadership composure from DCE all contribute to ineffective play that creates a mountain of defence.

A little discipline and more effective directness when required could have easily seen Manly leading this game, in general Manly were reading Souths spreads very well and looked on top of things, but we keep shooting ourselves in the foot big time in pressure games.

We need to belt them for 20 mins then start feeding some early ball to Tom. Otherwise there's not much point even running back out for the second half. Scoring four tries is not hard for this team, but it will be impossible if we keep playing this dumb.

i think we missed that for some weeks now, just dont have the punch up the middle, and missing too many easy one on one tackles out wide.
