The prospect of a whole another week of souths lovefest Wayne and Adam leaving in all media next week in Sydney makes me feel sick!!

Souths have a lot of players rested in the last round then had another week off, might backfire and provide a good chance for Manly to get the jump on them.

We have 4 guys playing their first full NRL season - Schu, Smole, Saaby and Harper. I think they are quality and are up to the job but even if not this will whet their appetite for finals success.

Surreal to say the least.

Due to caravanning trips I’ve not been to a QLD game for 4 years , and now I’m going to one and it’s a grand final qualifier.

It's almost surreal that we have made the preliminary final this year. We appeared to be down and out back in round four. That actually seems like a lifetime ago. Des and the boys have done amazing things to just get us here tonight. I still don't think we have played our best football yet, and I dont think we have peaked yet. I think tonight is when we will see that happen. Tonight could be magical. So proud to be Manly right now. Go Manly. It's our time.

Storm are in the same boat and the one game they played was a pretty easy game against us. I reckon Panthers will be battle hardened and primed. Manly V Panthers GF
P.S I predicted that prior to the season kick off
Panthers can win this but will sure be gassed for the GF, our best bet is for them to get up over Storm.

At the start of the week, I was thinking of a 26-14 Manly win type score line. Stuff that! I've changed my mind and now I'm expecting the unexpected.....it'll be a blowout 42-8 to Manly. Turbo 2 tries, Saab 1, Suli 1, Jake 1, Garrick 1 and Keppie 1

I’m stoked for you and your lad, we would be there if this bloody COVID BS wasn’t ruining everything, the hardest part for me is I‘ve promised my 2 youngest lads the whole family would be at Manly’s next GF, which I‘ll be forced to break due to COVID and these bloody ridiculous lockdowns, anyway mate enjoy tonight, I know you both will, I’m jealous while also being happy for you both at the same time.

Just so hard to predict how these type of games will go with a relatively even money situation and so many different scenarios that could play out , Can think of some good reasons how Manly can win it , a few why they may not. Just hope that some of the never say die spirit of the 2013 Manly G F qualifying side can be invoked in tonight 's squad and the way they coped with a lot of adversity . Got a feeling that Manly can pull it off tonight , quite a few things will have to go right but as long as the effort and resilience is there and they can hang in there , they can get to the Big One .

Nervous AF for this one, it'll be a close game with Manly running away with it the last 15-20 mins to win by 8-10.

I can see the vermin getting the jump on us by 14. A brief fightback should see 6-14 at half-time. They'll jump us early 2nd half for 6-20 then we'll score a couple to get back to 18-20 then I expect the ref/bunker clowns to do their job. Vermin by 13.
