The extremely long day between wake up and kick off is underway. Work is a bit slow so I’ll have played the game in my head about 10 times before kickoff

This year has sucked for me on a number of levels. As sad as it may seem one of the few bright spots has been watching this team play and (most weeks!) have a dig playing some of the best footy I have ever seen at our club.

I have no nerves only excitement.

No matter what the result tonight I will always look back on this season as the start of something at our club and a reminder of how sport can really help to lift you out of some dark places

Wayne will have them all rested and focused. Its gonna be some effort to beat them for the first time this year. But i think we can do it. Alot will depend on our start and converting the early opportunities into points that shock the bunnies. So, if we can get to 12 - 0 , we can go on with it.

Second week of the finals was my ceiling for us this year and we've surpassed that with flying colors.

Storm are in the same boat and the one game they played was a pretty easy game against us. I reckon Panthers will be battle hardened and primed. Manly V Panthers GF
P.S I predicted that prior to the season kick off
Panthers can win this but will sure be gassed for the GF, our best bet is for them to get up over Storm.

Yes, in an extra time golden point marathon, where Cleary gets polaxxed by typical Storm behaviour.

Souths look beatable to me. I am surprised that the media think they are strong favourites, but I guess the souths narrative is always a strong one - the so-called battlers backed by billionaires and Rusty. It will come crashing down again this evening.

I think attack and defence we can go with the rabbits all day. i think we are pretty even and we have tommy boy. my concern is the in between stuff, kicking game, control and patience. Reynolds is pretty good and where we start sets is very important in these games ansd we rarely win the end to end game unless we blow teams away

we try to blow teams away too early and are probably too inexperienced to come back from a poor start that yields the bunnies early points

my hope is that with suli playing we will use the left side more often .this side has less mistakes in it and more controlled footy. I just hope suli and tom dont get in eachothers way out there, but suli will be a great foil for tom . best to go to suli early a few times to create doubt with the havoc. with these 2 out there it will obviously make the inside ball more deadly and this might also give schuster more room than he has been getting

my preference would be for tom to play more right, for cherry to play primarily a kicking role and leave ball playing to walker , foran , schuster and tom and for tom and suli to run and run . both foran and schuster can use short sides well to a good set up to allow foran more space is very possible. early unhindered ball to huamole will help this plan and his game big time

we just need one head to be thinking about where the game is being played at all times and that has to be DCE. he will find opportunities to run and play if he is patient. he needs to simplify his game. we have the tools

even though i think we have probably overachieved a little due to assistance from the new rules ,we can beat souffs but we need to commit to the competition instead of trying to avoid the hard boring slog that semi finals are about

i would like to see this for another reason. Hate the storm, love the 40 nil. just dont want that legacy lost by being smashed by them next week by playing panic footy in the first 10 minutes
