Yep whatever happens tonight to make to week 3 of the finals will do me.

All I hope is that we don't get rolled easy and south's win big I would hate a 40-12 type scoreline would make it a hard night to take.

I think if it another way. I don't care whether we win by 1 point with a lucky field goal or by 50. I do care if we lose, but don't care how much we lose by.

All that matters, in the end, is making the grand final. Score is irrelevant. Consider that Souths have made the last three prelims. You wouldn't know it, or remember, because the only teams that anyone remembers in any given year are the two grand final teams. Every other team that year is forgotten.

I want this team to be remembered.

HERE WE GO. So close to a GF we can touch it. We wanted this path to the finals, to eventually meet the Rabbits in the prelim because we all believed they were the lesser of the top 4. We came in the hard way though, but I think it's the best way. We needed that week 1 loss, it put a fire in our belly, it taught us a lesson, gave us a reality check.

We got embarrassed in the worst way possible and had players distraught in the sheds. But look at the way we bounced back against chookies, focused, aggression, motivation, we were too good. Let's keep carrying that energy, nobody remembers who loses in the prelims, let's make a name for ourselves for having this amazing season and become a Grand Finalist. I love my club, I'm proud of us, proud of our supporters, our players, our coaches, everything.

All loyalty aside, I think the game will be decided by taffe..
Penny kicked to him all night without results, because they had stuff all kick chase and were running on fumes (as evident last week when they had absolutely no answers for a pretty basic eels outfit and had to resort to cheating to win)
I see the kid getting bombed all night long, with 6"4 Tommy and 6"7 Saab jumping all over him, all night long..
If it's close, that will be the difference... Poor bastard is going to have nightmares of Tommy and Saab for the next few weeks

I can see the vermin getting the jump on us by 14. A brief fightback should see 6-14 at half-time. They'll jump us early 2nd half for 6-20 then we'll score a couple to get back to 18-20 then I expect the ref/bunker clowns to do their job. Vermin by 13.

He is small and inexperienced. The boys will bomb him all night and kick to the corners and drag him back! Like we used to do to slater back in the day. Tough night ahead for the kid but oh well he plays for souths
