Well I would be one of DCE's biggest critics but quedos to him for last night's performance. He was simply brilliant which makes me wonder why he can't control the game when playing for the Sea Eagles. Anyway I'm sure he shut a lot of people up last night including me. I'm glad you brought that up. I was blowing up listening and watching the replays. Slater did f-all. Great finish by Holmes, but kicked off and set up by DCE.

Chez had that slight shimmy whenever he'd play to the line which played a big part in the hesitance of the NSW defence. He did that all night while running straight which was good to see.

He did. The old bastard was a state sprinter in his youth. I ran into a neighbours yard and out the back, didn't think he'd find me....he did.....massive flogging. Worst part was the house I ran into was an Aboriginal welfare house. While I was squealing like a pig, the mob were pissing themselves....white fella on white fella, they thought it was a hoot.


PS Never laid a hand on my sister again, or any female for that matter. One of those life lessons that you never forget.

Was strange as a kid following SOO in the early/mid 80's as a manly supporter, it was hard not to follow qld as it was packed with manly players, where manly may have had Eadie, Boyd, krilich,Ray brown for a game or 2 ,and Cleal featuring regularly for NSW

That Slater business was such rubbish. The whole pre-game QLD toss-off was predictable and puke-worthy. Anyone older than four or other than Slater's parents would have seen how obvious and ridiculous that decision was.
