Some good signs from the newbies. Frizzell showed he is a true origin player, and jack bird, wow he didn't look out of place in the slightest. I like him he's got the healthy amount of arrogance and mongrel. And Moylan I thought barey put a foot wrong.

As for what others have said, get Josh Jackson to Manly. Fantastic 80m performance.

I think everyone is being hard on Jennings, especially with that effort where he knocked on. What person doesn't try and go for the try?

Walker shut down Inglis all night and it was obvious they were targeting him and Reynolds on the left. Inglis had more carries than any game this season. When he got his opportunities he looked dangerous as well. Lovely swerve and inside pass at the death.

He is a Manly player and we should celebrate good efforts from our guys. Surely we can leave the club and player bashing out of it in an origin game. Walker is a world class centre and will prove it over the next few years

At 20 to 10 I had the 'oh s$$$' feeling. I thought we are going to get towelled by 30. So full credit they battled till the end.

I'm not saying wow aren't they brilliant for losing competitively, but in years gone by we lose badly. I just think if we rebuild now (and it must happen in game 3) we can start looking good for next year.

Cartwright needs to come in, as others have said we need a ball playing forward. Jack Bird needs to be a permanent fixture, and there needs to be consideration for Tedesco. And Jake for Gallen. Jake adds some ball playing will make 40 tackles, and won't stifle the attack.
